Chairman and CEO - Nashville
Daniel (Dan) N. McVicker—Born in 1960, with 39 years of experience in the commercial real estate business, Dan McVicker combines the skills of a TN combined licensed commercial/industrial general contractor with his extensive background in real estate law, (licensed by the Texas Supreme Court in 1995), commercial banking, office and industrial leasing, high rise office tenant buildout, and industrial/office and residential construction. Mr. McVicker graduated from SMU”s Cox School of Business with a degree in finance and began his real estate journey as a commercial banking lender and developer of large scale business parks and communities in GA, FL, and TX with Lomas and Nettleton Financial Corp. (NYSE: LNFC). Mr. McVicker, with his partner Ben Byrd, have either completed, sold, or under construction multifamily communities valued at more than $250 million at market value in TN, TX, and AL. Mr McVicker has been married for for 37 years and is the father of twins, both lawyers, one also a TX CPA. Mr. McVicker has been a National board member of NAIOP, and is currently writing “Attainable Housing” with a co-author.
President, Founding Partner - Nashville
Benjamin Byrd is a Founding Partner of Ramston Capital. Up until the founding of Ramston, Benjamin worked with Freeman Webb as their acquisitions lead focusing on “value add” multifamily properties in the Texas and Florida markets. Prior to Freeman Webb, Benjamin worked with Capital Spring in New York, where he worked on underwriting mergers of various franchisee portfolios, as well as sourcing and underwriting acquisitions with a typical deal size of $15-50 million. Benjamin attended the University of the South, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors in History.
Partner - Dallas
Charles Terrell, Jr. is the Texas Partner for Ramston Capital. Prior to joining the firm, he consulted with Ramston on acquisitions in the Texas markets. Charles began his career with the Vantage Companies in Atlanta, GA, where he focused on mixed-use project development and leasing. After moving to Dallas, he continued to work in multi-family and retail sales and brokerage with Henry S. Miller and multi-family brokerage with the Staubach Company. He founded Terrell Property Company to focus on urban leasing and development of retail and multi-family properties. Charles is a former City Plan Commissioner, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) authority board member, and is President of Safer Dallas Better Dallas. He received his B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University with a concentration in real estate and finance from the Cox School of Business.
Director, Development - Nashville
Robert D. Hoover, III is the Director of Development for Ramston, and has been with the firm since 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Robert was an Architectural Designer with TMPartners, where he designed and managed construction projects through all phases, from capital planning and programming to design and construction administration. Robert is a member of NAIOP and an associate member of the AIA, serving on their Government Relations Committee (Middle TN), as he pursues full AIA licensure. Robert attended Tulane University where he received a Bachelors of Science in Architecture, a Minor in the Business of Real Estate Development, and a Masters of Architecture. A Nashville native, Robert is a proud alumnus of Montgomery Bell Academy.
Director, Financial Operations and Investor Relations - Nashville
Lindsay Stevenson is the Director of Financial Operations and Investor Relations, and has been with Ramston since 2020. Prior to joining Ramston, Lindsay was an Associate Buyer at Bloomingdale's in New York, where she managed all aspects of the business for a $14m+ sales volume department. Lindsay attended the University of the South, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Economics and a minor in Business.
Director, Accounting - Nashville
Robbie Weikert is Ramston Capital's Director of Accounting and has been with the firm since 2021. Prior to joining Ramston, Robbie spent four years with HCA Healthcare. As an Accounting Manager with the Physician Services Group, he primarily worked on Reporting and Special Projects, assisting the VP of Accounting. Before joining HCA, he worked as an accountant in the healthcare and logistics industries. A native Nashvillian, Robbie is an alumnus of Montgomery Bell Academy and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelors of the Arts in Economics and a minor in Financial Economics. He then attended Belmont University, receiving his Master of Accountancy. Robbie is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the TSCPA.
Owner's Representative - Dallas
Edward (Ed) is an Owner’s Representative specializing in Ramston’s charitable multi-family development sites and has been with the firm since 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Ed was a Project Manager with PepsiCo overseeing multiple projects implementing software in several countries across the globe using offshore teams located in India. Ed started his career at Lomas & Nettleton in the land development division. Ed was responsible for projects located in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston Texas. After Lomas & Nettleton, Ed worked for Craig International overseeing real estate projects in North Texas and Southern California. Ed has a BBA in Real Estate from Southern Methodist University and an MBA in Information Systems from The University of Dallas.
Associate, Development and Project Management - Nashville
Phelps C. Gambill is a Development and Project Management Associate and has been with the Ramston since 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Phelps was the Project Manager for developer and builder Conner Bros. Construction in Auburn, Alabama. While working for Conner Bros., Phelps founded Gambill Development, LLC with the initiative to develop student living communities throughout the southeastern United States. After bringing “The Tracks”, a student living community in Auburn, AL, to the Ramston founders, he became a part of our team. Phelps attended Auburn University where he played football and received his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. A Nashville native, Phelps is a proud alumnus of Montgomery Bell Academy.
Associate, Owner's Representative - Nashville
Seamus Lewis is an Owner's Representative for Ramston Capital, and has been with the firm since 2020. Prior to joining Ramston, Seamus managed construction projects in Charleston, South Carolina. Seamus has experience across the industry from commercial realty to construction and property management. Seamus attended the College of Charleston where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Real Estate Finance.
