Our first responsibility is to our residents who live in our communities - which are in safe, desirable, high energy areas with strong population or job growth. We will be relentless in reducing the cost of living in our communities compared with our peers and provide friendly and responsive service.


Our second responsibility is to our Ramston team members, whose voices on matters of importance are always heard and considered when they are acting with good judgment and care for others. Team members who direct their own daily priorities when they are being proactive with their responsibilities. Opportunity for advancement and educational assistance will be based on: (i) Innovation and Creativity; (ii) Teamwork, Leadership, and Communication skills; (iii) Drive and Competitiveness; (iv) Trust; (v) Care; (vi) Good Judgment; (vii) Curiosity; (viii) Stress Resistance and Stoicism; (ix) Independence, Confidence, and Self-Reliance; (x) Humbleness; and (xi) Patience.


Our third responsibility is to the communities where our residents live. We must be good citizens, supporting good works, philanthropy, and charity. We will bear our fair share of taxes, and maintain in good order the property we are privileged to own with moderate levels of debt. We must participate in promotion of good civic government, and acquaint the community with our activities.


Our fourth and last responsibility is to our investors. They have entrusted us with their resources and are entitled to a fair return. If we do our job with the first three matters of responsibility, and prepare for adverse times with proper reserves and liberal levels of equity, we will generate sound returns which will support our solemn responsibility to investors.


We are determined to fulfill these obligations to the best of our ability.
